The tweets of the day: Thomas’s first Rosa, the Danish Grand Slam

This morning everyone was waiting for one thing and one thing only: to see Geraint Thomas in the Maglia Rosa for the first time. The Ineos Grenadiers Welshman took it by surprise after Evenepoel’s farewell, and he himself was the first to show it off on his twitter profile. Obviously with a joke: “shame we won’t see this much today” he posted, referring to the fact that his rainjacket would have covered it.
