French Rider Julian Alaphilippe triumphs in Stage 6 of the FantaGiro d’Italia with a whopping 81 points.
The two-time world champion took the highest step on the podium by amassing 35 points for his 2nd place in the stage, 13 in the intermediate sprints, 8 in the Intergiro, and 7 in the two 4th category.
Alaphilippe also took 3 points for the “Equipment bonus”, and an extra 20 points through the breakaway and combativity awards. The 5-point deduction for a team penalty did not preventing the Frenchman from taking Stage 6 in the FantagGiro.
