The 10th stage of the FantaGiro d’Italia, Pompei – Cusano Mutri (Bocca della Selva), was won by Valentin Paret-Pentre (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale Team) with a total of 93 points.
The 23-year-old Frenchman scored 50 points for the stage win, 20 points for the first category summit at the finish, 3 for the Intergiro sprint, 10 for the “Coppi and Bartali” bonus after exchanging a water bottle with Simone Velasco, and 20 for the “One never forgets their first time” bonus, awarded to the rider who wins for the first time in the Giro d’Italia. Valentin Paret-Peintre lost 10 points due to the “Teetotaler” penalty.
The stage podium was completed by Romain Bardet (Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL) with 73 points and Jan Tratnik (Team Visma-Lease a Bike) with 51.
