With the extraordinary feat in the Monte Grappa stage, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) seals his dominance in the standings of the Giro d’Italia and FantaGiro.
The Slovenian champion secured his seventh stage victory in the FantaGiro with a total of 161 points: 50 for the stage victory, 20 for leading the provisional general classification, 10 for Intermediate Sprints, 20 for the 1st category GPM, 10 for confirming the Pink Jersey, and another 10 for maintaining the Blue Jersey.
Pogačar’s rich haul also includes 20 points for winning the Special Monte Grappa Jersey, 10 for the Breakaway Bonus (winning the stage with at least 20km of solo breakaway), 10 for the Gilbert Bonus (celebrating by lifting his bike to the sky), and another 10 points for the Bottle Bonus (giving his bottle to a young fan).
Completing the podium for this Fantappa are Giulio Pellizzari (VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè) with 67 points and Daniel Martinez (Bora-Hansgrohe) with 51.
