Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step) wins the sprint in Padua and also takes stage victory in the FantaGiro d’Italia.
The Belgian sprinter, in his second victory of the day in the FantaGiro, only needed the 50 points awarded to the stage winner.
Completing the stage podium, Jonathan Milan (Lidl – Trek) with 43 points and Mirco Maestri (Team Polti Kometa) with 42.
