With the memorable victory in Livigno, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) establishes himself as the absolute dominator of the Giro d’Italia and the FantaGiro.
The Slovenian champion, with his fifth stage victory in the FantaGiro d’Italia, has amassed a total of 133 points, distributed as follows: 50 for the stage win, 20 for the first position in the partial general classification, 10 for confirming the Maglia Rosa (Pink Jersey), 10 for maintaining the Maglia Azzurra (Blue Jersey), and 32 for the 1st category GPM (mountain points).
Additionally, Pogačar earned 10 points for the bouquet bonus, “throwing flowers on the podium during the prize-giving ceremony,” and 1 point for the team equipment bonus.
Rounding out the stage podium are Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team) with 84 points and Christian Scaroni (Astana Qazaqstan) with 47 points.
