The second place in the time trial Castiglione delle Stiviere – Desenzano del Garda Tudor ITT, won by Filippo Ganna, brings Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) his fourth stage victory in the FantaGiro d’Italia.
The Slovenian champion, the undisputed leader of the Giro and FantaGiro rankings, scored a total of 75 points, divided as follows: 35 for the second place in the stage ranking, 20 for the first place in the provisional general classification, 10 for confirming the Pink Jersey, 10 for maintaining the Blue Jersey, and 10 points for the bouquet bonus, “flower toss on the awards podium.” Pogačar also received a 10-point penalty for the abstinent penalty, “the rider on the podium opens the bottle but does not drink.”
The stage podium is completed by Filippo Ganna (INEOS Grenadiers) with 55 points and Geraint Thomas (INEOS Grenadiers) with 34 points.
