IN ITALY
As always, RAI will provide coverage of the Corsa Rosa to the national public on each and every day of the race, without interruption.
Each day of coverage will begin with a one-hour programme called “Villaggio di Partenza”, available on Rai Sport + HD, which will include rider presentations and pre-race interviews. Then it will be time for the “Anteprima Giro”, on that same channel, which will begin when the race starts and will continue until 14:00.
For the last, and most intense few hours of racing, broadcasting will move to Rai 2, with “Giro in Diretta”, up until 16:15, when “Giro all’Arrivo” will cover the very last moments of each stage until the finish, scheduled for 17:15. Immediately after the race, the traditional post-race analysis will be hosted on the same channel – the “Processo alla Tappa” will be broadcast for around 45 minutes.
Then, from 20:00, fans will be able to tune in again on Rai Sport + HD for a more in-depth analysis of the technical aspects of the race: TGiro will broadcast interviews, news and comment, followed by Giro Notte at 00:15, where diehard fans will be taken on a journey that looks back, moment by moment, at the highlights of the day’s stage
