Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates) has won Stage 13 of the 103rd Giro d’Italia, 192km from Cervia to Monselice. João Almeida (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) and Patrick Konrad (Bora – Hansgrohe) finished second and third, respectively.
João Almeida (Deceuninck – Quick-Step), runner-up in Monselice, extends his lead in the general classification and wears the Maglia Rosa.

Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner Diego Ulissi said: “We did a great job on the last climb to drop the sprinters and arrive with a small group. McNulty was very good in the final, how nice to get another success in the Giro!”
The Maglia Rosa João Almeida said: “I am a bit disappointed with my second place, I wanted a stage win. I was really close but not close enough. Tomorrow will be a hard ITT but I will give it my best”.
