As the countdown to the 105th edition of the Corsa Rosa hit 100 days to go, last night the host cities of the 21 stages lit up their major monuments, streets, piazzas, iconic landmarks and locations in the race’s signature pink colour.
The Giro d’Italia begins in Budapest (Hungary) on May 6 and finishes in Verona on May 29. This will be the 14th foreign start for the Giro d’Italia, and the first one from an Eastern European country.
Here are the monuments that have been lit up in pink, stage by stage.
