Andrea Bagioli (Soudal Quick-Step) has won the 107th GranPiemonte presented by Crédit Agricole, raced over a 152km route from Borgofranco d’Ivrea to Favria. Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates) and Alex Aranburu Deba (Movistar Team) finished second and third, respectively.
Guillaume Martin (Cofidis), who was part of the leading quartet, finished at the foot of the podium while Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) won the sprint of the chasing group.

Speaking seconds after the race finish, the winner Andrea Bagioli said: “I didn’t exactly expect to win but I knew I was coming with good form so we rode as a team with the win in mind. My team-mates did a good job bringing the breakaway back. I’m leaving the team so it’s great to finish with a win at the end of the season here in my country”.
