BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE
The route follows the now-iconic Torricelle time trial course that has been included in the Giro as the final stage.
Technical info
Obviously, it does not take in any street in the wrong direction, unlike the Giro stage, in which the professionals will race on a more linear route.
Wherever possible, in the first part of the route, it is always advisable to use the cycle paths at the side of the road.
Along the Torricelle climb the traffic decreases substantially and you can enjoy both the climb and the panorama.
A fast-rolling descent leads to the town centre and, after a section along River Adige, you get back to Piazza Bra.
Some course stretches are on paved road.
NOTES:
The route sector closest to the centre is inevitably fairly trafficked.
CHANGES DURING YOUR RIDE:
The city streets allow for countless shortcuts.
