Friday 23 May 2025 Flat at first, except for the short Passo Roverello in the Euganean Hills. With 60 km to go, riders hit the Berici Hills for continuous ups and downs, including the climb of San Giovanni in Monte. After a first pass over the finish line, a 20 km circuit with the climb of Arcugnano leads to the final kick at Monte Berico.

Saturday 24 May 2025 Completely flat with some late bumps. Around km 140, the route briefly enters Slovenia before heading to Gorizia and entering the final 14 km circuit, ending in Nova Gorica.

Saturday 31 May 2025 Flat early on to the Canavese area, then a series of short, steep climbs leads to the Lanzo Valleys. Past Viù, the climb to Colle del Lys begins, followed by the brutal ascent of Colle delle Finestre (Cima Coppi) with an unrelenting 9.2% gradient all the way.

Friday 09 May 2025 A stage that livens up after a flat opening stretch of about 65 km. The riders will tackle the climb of Gracen before reaching Tirana and entering the final circuit just after the finish line, climbing the Surrel hill twice, featuring gradients up to 13% in the first section.

Tuesday 13 May 2025 A flat stage with only one short climb at Putignano. In Lecce, riders will enter the final circuit just after the finish line, covering almost the entire 12 km loop before crossing the line again and tackling a full lap.

Wednesday 14 May 2025 Largely flat until the last 35 km. After a short, steep, almost straight climb to Montescaglioso, a short descent and a slightly uphill false flat lead to the finish in Matera.

Thursday 15 May 2025 The longest stage of the 2025 Giro. Starting in Potenza, the route heads into the Irpinia area through the Lucanian mountains with the long ascent to the Valico di Monte Carruozzo. After entering the province of Naples, the final 45 km weave through towns before the finish on the waterfront of Via Caracciolo.

Saturday 17 May 2025 Another mountainous stage. After a short flat section, the peloton enters the Teramo and Piceno Apennines, heading towards Sarnano to tackle the climb to Sassotetto. A technical descent then leads into a series of non-stop climbs and descents all the way to Castelraimondo.

Sunday 18 May 2025 From Gubbio to the hills of Siena via Cortona and Sinalunga, hitting several Strade Bianche gravel sectors: Pieve a Salti (8.0 km), Serravalle (9.3 km), San Martino in Grania (9.4 km), Monteaperti (600 m), and Colle Pinzuto (2.4 km, peaking at 15%). After clearing the gravel, the road heads to a city finale in Siena.

Wednesday 21 May 2025 A stage clearly split into two halves: the first gently uphill to Castelnuovo Garfagnana, the second packed with long climbs and descents. The brutal ascent of San Pellegrino in Alpe (gradients up to 20%) is followed by the climbs of Toano and Pietra di Bismantova before the finish in Castelnovo ne’ Monti.
